You as a Purchasing Coordinator will:

• Prepare and execute RFQs/purchase orders
• Review and process purchase requisition request daily
• Match quotes and invoices to ensure pricing is correct
• Liaise with cross functional teams to ensure good are available to meet production requirements on time
• Receive orders ensuring proper product is received and quantities accurate.
• Maintain product knowledge database regarding product specs & pictures.
• Perform periodic inventory counts – ensuring stock is maintained at appropriate levels.
• Prepare invoices for approvals & submit in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment to vendors.
• Assist in processing work orders (internal & billable).
• Any other general duties as required.

Is this the right role for you?

• Post-secondary education in Purchasing or related field 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role 
• Experience in Purchasing and Inventory management preferred
• Superior planning and organizing skills with high attention to detail
• Possess strong communication, negotiation and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and are extremely motivated
• You are able to work well in a team environment
• Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP software

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000
