Job Summary:
This position is a Supervisor of STEAM Grades 6-12
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in STEAM field with extensive coursework in education
- New Jersey Certificate - Teacher of STEAM Content Area K-12
- New Jersey Certificate � Supervisor
- Demonstrated communication skill
- Demonstrated leadership talent and abilities
- Minimum five years' successful teaching/administrative experience as STEAM Supervisor preferred
- Knowledge of secondary education curriculum/programs
- Demonstrate excellent initiative and personal integrity
- Experience in STEAM Programming
- Prior experience working with teachers, students and families and STEM/STEAM themes
- Advanced skills in the use of computers and computing devices, interactive whiteboards, G-Suite and other cloud-based applications, Virtual and Augmented Reality, coding, spreadsheets, data-bases, a variety of educational software programs, and any other new and emerging technologies that may have appropriate applications for STEAM education.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively
- Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
