Job Summary
The VP, BRCM Policy Operationalization plays a critical role in ensuring that UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited effectively implements and adheres to all relevant policies and regulations related to Business Resilience and Crisis Management (BRCM). This individual will translate high-level BRCM policies into actionable processes and procedures, driving their adoption across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational frameworks, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the effective operationalization of BRCM policies throughout the bank.
- Collaborate with various business units and support functions to integrate BRCM policy requirements into their daily operations and systems.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing operational processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement in BRCM policy adherence.
- Design and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on BRCM policies, procedures, and their roles and responsibilities.
- Establish and maintain a robust monitoring and reporting mechanism to track BRCM policy compliance, operational effectiveness, and key performance indicators.
- Act as a subject matter expert on BRCM operationalization, providing guidance and support to stakeholders on policy interpretation and implementation challenges.
- Coordinate with internal audit, risk management, and compliance teams to ensure BRCM policies and operational procedures meet regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Lead or support BRCM-related projects and initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies or process enhancements.
- Prepare and present reports on BRCM operationalization status, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging threats related to business resilience and crisis management.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in risk management, compliance, business continuity, or operational roles within the financial services industry, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on policy operationalization or implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of Business Resilience and Crisis Management frameworks, standards (e.g., ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines), and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully translating policies into practical operational procedures and driving their adoption across an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Certifications in Business Continuity (e.g., CBCP, MBCI) or Risk Management (e.g., FRM, PRM) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English and Thai (both written and spoken) is essential.
