What You’ll Do

 

• As a Design Specialist ||, you will play a key role across the technology introduction lifecycle, from vendor engagement and lab validation through field trials and production rollout
• Launch and introduction of LTE, 5G, and next gen RAN hardware, software, and features into the TELUS network
• Apply a Reliability by Design mindset across planning, validation, deployment, and operational readiness phases
• Translate technical LTE/5G concepts into clear business impacts and vice versa to support Go to Market alignment
• Evaluate vendor roadmaps, clarify TELUS requirements, and influence product functionality and direction
• Analyze early phase performance impacts of new technology trials to validate expected behavior and customer experience
• Conduct targeted performance assessments during lab and field trials to ensure smooth transition into operational teams
• Support field teams during new technology deployment, troubleshooting, and early rollout stages
• Provide specialized technical guidance and expertise to engineering teams across the organization
• Communicate technical decisions and their implications clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
