The Opportunity
MiQ is not your average programmatic media partner. We're experts in data science and omnichannel programmatic trading for advertisers and media agencies, with a focus on quality and performance. MiQ Sigma, our award-winning AI-powered advertising technology, empowers traders and clients to deliver incremental results by unifying data, screens, and channels in one connected approach.
MiQ is looking for a Sales Marketing Manager to join our growing New York City team. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Strategy leaders, you'll develop strategic narratives and create sales collateral around key verticals and agency holdco partnerships. You'll use your talent for storytelling, design, collaboration, and communication to bring those narratives to market, enabling the US Sales Team to deliver them with confidence.
If you're a seasoned, independent Sales Marketing, Sales Enablement, or Product Marketing pro with sharp attention to detail, a flair for sales storytelling and design, and a solid understanding of the programmatic media industry - we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Work with key stakeholders in Sales, Strategy, and Product departments to identify and prioritize sales collateral, training and communication requirements across key verticals.
Translate product capabilities into market-facing narratives and sales collateral, creating pitch decks, one sheets, user guides, and case studies for sales enablement purposes, working closely with our brand creative team to ensure attractive design.
Design and execute internal comms, documentation and training materials focused on enabling sales teams across the US.
Gather and analyze insights from internal stakeholders and clients to inform positioning, inspire messaging, and surface new, data-driven ideas for telling MiQ's story.
Manage delivery and organization of sales collateral through tools like Seismic, Google Sites, Confluence and Hubspot.
Required Experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a sales marketing, sales strategy, sales enablement or product marketing role.
Experience in an ad tech business, or media agency working in digital advertising. Direct exposure to commercial teams is a plus.
Demonstrable ability to independently create compelling sales collateral.
Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and proficiency in translating technical data, product and trading concepts into approachable stories that appeal to advertisers and media agency professionals.
Expert stakeholder management skills including co-ordination, persuasion, accountability and feedback.
Experience and comfort working in a very fast, dynamic, quickly-changing environment.
Your Core Competencies:
SALES PRODUCT STORYTELLING:
Creates compelling sales storytelling, positioning, messaging and visualisations based on a thorough understanding of MiQ’s market, sales needs and products - making MiQ’s products easy to buy, easy to sell, and easy to understand.

CURIOSITY:
Proactively seeks to understand the details of advertising and data science products, with the ability to translate complexity into simple, compelling stories that resonate with sellers and clients.
A drive to deeply understand internal and external audiences, especially brand marketers and media agency professionals.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Highly organized, with an ability to plan and execute enablement and training deliverables with multiple objectives and stakeholders.
Proactive in following team processes with attention to fine detail.
Able to plan ahead and predict blockers in order to prevent them.
COLLABORATION:

Understands global cultural differences in communication and adapts accordingly.
Proactively open and transparent on work priorities and progress with all stakeholders.

COMMUNICATION:
