Job Description

Are you passionate about renewable energy and motivated to work in a global, cross-functional environment? In this role, as Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d), you act as a bridge between engineering, product strategy, sales teams, and customers: translating complex technical topics into clear, value‑driven messages. As part of our Global Sales Engineering team, you help shape how our wind turbine products are positioned and understood across international markets. This role suits someone who enjoys technical breadth, strong communication, and enabling others from a supportive, second‑line position.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Act as the technical interface between Global Engineering, Product Management, and Sales
  • Own selected technical focus areas and serve as the global contact person
  • Support local sales teams with technical proposals and complex customer negotiations
  • Share knowledge through training, guidance, and clear technical communication
  • Develop and continuously improve global standards, tools, and processes
  • Engage with key customers to understand and manage technical expectations
  • Collect and consolidate technical market feedback to support product development

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Engineering (ideally electrical engineering, communication engineering, or power systems)
  • Strong combination of technical understanding and commercial mindset
  • Experience in engineering or technical sales—or strong motivation to grow in this direction
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in an international environment
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented working style with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to balance structured processes with practical flexibility
  • Fluent in English; German or Spanish and willingness to travel occasionally (<5%) are a plus
