WHAT YOU WILL DO
- The Senior Associate, Genesis Public Relations supports the Genesis Brand Department’s communications in North America by executing PR and communications programs that build brand awareness, protect reputation, and advance business priorities.
- Partners with internal stakeholders and agency teams to deliver media materials, executive communications, reporting, and core operational support (press fleet, media website, and press releases).
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Manage and track PR project workflows, timelines, and deliverables, coordinating day-to-day execution across internal partners and agency teams.
- Support planning and execution of Product, Motorsport, design communications, and regional press association activities, including logistics, materials development, on-site support, and post-event wrap-up.
- Own press fleet operations and asset tracking (vehicles, plates, pre-production models), coordinating ordering, transport, preparation, registration, lifecycle management, and retirement.
- Create, update, and distribute routine communications deliverables such as governance/reporting materials, executive briefing documents, media sales reporting, and program communications for the Genesis retail facility initiative.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for amplification and brand-adjacent PR programs (e.g., GMNA Marketing collaboration and Genesis golf activities), ensuring alignment with Product & Motorsport priorities.
- Maintain the Genesis media website and support corporate press release development and distribution, ensuring content accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
- Provide vendor and budget administration support, including Scopes of Work, Purchase Requests, and coordination with vendor partners to ensure quality delivery and on-time performance.
- This is a support position, focused on delivering day to day tasks and analyses with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision.
- Exercise of discretion and independent judgment directly related to significant management and/or general business operations is not required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- At least four years of experience with minimum one year of automotive PR preferred.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry a plus.
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Project management and logistics experience an asset.
- Knowledge of American and global media and trends an asset.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

- Compensation Range: $58,800.00 - $84,000.00 annual base salary
