Job Description
Sheridan MN is seeking a Laminator Operator for first shift, Monday - Friday.
What You'll Do:
- Setup and run the Laminator and/or UV Coater.
- Monitor quality of product per the job ticket and established procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and maintain the equipment with preventative maintenance.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc.)
- Possess basic computer skills (i.e. Windows type applications.)
- Possess mechanical inclination and have the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Two years + in trade on similar equipment.
- Graphic arts and/or technical school background.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.
- Hearing protection and safety toe shoes are required.
- Prolonged periods of standing up to 12 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
