What you will do:
- Driving Excellence: Operate all vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. Ensure compliance with safety standards through regular vehicle inspections.
- Order Accuracy: Carefully verify and load orders onto customer and company vehicles, maintaining high accuracy to meet customer satisfaction.
- Dynamic Yard Support: Engage in loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing merchandise, using equipment such as hand trucks and forklifts. Ensure all materials are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork in alignment with company policies. Report any equipment maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor daily.
- Incident Reporting: Take immediate action by reporting all yard accidents, no matter how minor, and ensure all necessary information is documented and submitted.
- Additional Duties: Be ready to take on various additional tasks as needed to support team objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
What you will bring:
- Education: CDL License – Class B
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in operating hand trucks, forklifts, semi-trailers, and straight trucks.
- Strong industry experience and knowledge of building materials preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
- Highly safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety.
