Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Conducting and analysing quality risks assessment of the assembly process instructions and methods and collaborate closely with NPI process engineers to define risk mitigative measures, implement them in the PCS process definitions before production release and review their effectiveness during first sample builds especially for NPI customization products.
• Conduct review of risk mitigative measures in the PCS process definitions and perform basic checks i.e. formality and integrity of data to ensure correctness of the PCS process definitions, before approving them for production release.
• Track open actions related to quality risks arising from NPI sample builds and proactively follow-up their closures before the products are released for mass production.
• Actively engage in problem solving activities related to assembly processes, implement corrective actions and effectively communicate those actions to all required personnel.
• Actively involve in PFMEA and DFMEA sessions and discussions of NPI new development products.
• Be the subject matter expert in assembly process quality controls to derive standards, sustain them across all product lines and deliver the knowledge to assemblers, supervisors and engineers.
• Drive or support continuous improvement initiatives especially related to enhancing assembly in-process quality controls to effectively prevent and detect failures.
• Support process engineering teams to analyze risks in defined process methods, flow and systems to identify opportunities of continuous improvements and drive towards realization.
• Support cross-functional team to improve and standardize assembly process methods to enhance process quality and safety.
• Develop and maintain assembly process standards and documentation: Process Risk assessment documentation (PFMEA) for NPI customization products.
