Provides expert consultation and synthesizes complex information to communicate program needs and to support informed decision-making. Utilizes epidemiologic and surveillance principles to identify infection trends, investigate outbreaks, and recommend corrective actions. Leverages data visualization and analytics to communicate findings and guide infection prevention strategies. Develops and delivers educational programs using innovative teaching methodologies to support diverse clinical and non-clinical audiences. Creates assessment tools and risk-based action plans tailored to specific care settings or populations to mitigate infection risks. Ensures compliance with infection control protocols, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization standards, ensuring regulatory alignment. Ensures regulatory compliance with accrediting bodies and stays current on changes in IPC standards and emerging threats. Collaborates on antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship initiatives. Directs infection prevention informatics, including data collection, validation, system optimization, and accurate reporting. Applies statistical methods to track and interpret trends, process and outcome metrics, and study results (e.g., point prevalence, case-control). Leads interdisciplinary teams to drive performance improvement using evidence-based IPC practices and tools. Promotes ethical and accountable IPC practices, developing business cases to support initiatives and ensure financial stewardship. Collaborates with community and public health partners, influencing behavior change and advancing health outcomes across the continuum of care. Other duties as assigned. Manages the IPC program, aligning its goals with organizational priorities and ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Analytical skills

Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• health science, healthcare delivery, public health, laboratory science, or related field.
Work Experience:
• 3+ experience in clinical setting, infection control or public health [Required]

Pay Range:
