Scientist (Sample Support Services) – CL512

The Virginia Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Scientist in the Sample Support Services Group for the Commonwealth's Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services (DCLS).

The Accessioning Scientist in Sample Support Services will perform pre-analytical functions related to accessioning as well as provide training within the group. The scientist will respond to inquiries from internal and external customers, resolve discrepancies, and reject samples. This position will also assist with maintaining documents to meet QA/QC policies and DCLS record retention policies. All DCLS safety rules and regulations must always upheld.
