Job Description
The Campaign Responsible ("CR") is part of the Technical Safety & Regulatory Compliance organization and ensures full compliance with all applicable United States regulations and internal standards related to safety/non-compliance and emissions/environmental recall campaign execution. The CR serves as the program manager for assigned campaigns from approval through launch and sustained execution. The role drives timing, quality, and execution efficiency; leads issue resolution and escalation; and engages early in the investigation process on campaign planning and remedy development to support on-time approvals, launch readiness, and accurate reporting.
The CR coordinates with Investigations and Campaign Administration & Execution teams and acts as the single point of contact for assigned campaigns, aligning cross-functional stakeholders throughout the campaign lifecycle. Scope includes Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles worldwide, as well as Alfa Romeo and Fiat branded vehicles sold in North America. Specific responsibilities include:
- Ensures United States regulatory compliance for all safety recalls and owns internal and external campaign reporting for both safety and emissions recalls.
- Coordinates cross-functional stakeholders to confirm timing, quality, metrics, delivery, and capacity plans are defined, feasible, and aligned (e.g., TSRC Investigations, Engineering, Mopar Purchasing/Supplier Quality, Mopar Supply Chain, Mopar TSO, Mopar Customer Care, Mopar Field Operations, Warranty Finance).
- Leads resolution of stakeholder conflicts and escalates critical issues and decisions to the appropriate governance forums.
- Oversees end-to-end campaign execution, including regulatory communications, repair instructions, remedy part supply plans, packaging, inventory management, extraordinary cost approvals, and engineering/service remedy development.
- Monitors completion rates and identifies customer and dealer outreach opportunities to improve campaign completion.
- Partners with stakeholders to investigate and resolve post-launch complaints (e.g., CAIR, VOQ, social channels) in a timely manner.
- Reports campaign status and metrics weekly at the Recall Executive Steering Committee (RESC) and the Vehicle Regulations Committee meetings.
- Represents the company with key NHTSA staff regarding campaign execution performance and required report submissions.
- Develops, documents, and continuously improves recall execution processes and standard work.
