What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable junior team member who is ready to start their career in Human Resources.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and interested in supporting people processes across the business. You’ll be part of a supportive HR Shared Services team, learning how HR administration, employee records, onboarding, documentation and systems work in a busy operational environment.
No extensive HR experience is required. We’re looking for the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
What you’ll bring to the team:
A genuine passion for starting a career in Human Resources / People & Culture
A sharp eye for detail and pride in getting things right
Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
Confidence using basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office
Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
A reliable approach to following processes and meeting deadlines
A team-focused mindset, with the confidence to ask questions and contribute
Discretion, professionalism and respect when handling confidential employee information
What you’ll be doing:
Providing hands-on administrative support to the HR team across daily people processes
Preparing, updating and maintaining important employee documentation
Supporting onboarding, employee changes and general HR lifecycle activities
Keeping employee records accurate, up to date and well organised
Building confidence using HR systems, including Workday
Responding to basic HR queries and escalating matters where required
Following HR policies, procedures and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance
Assisting with data checks, audits and process improvements
Working closely with HR Advisors, HR Business Partners, Recruitment and Mobilisation teams to support smooth employee processes
