Job role

  • Lead end‑to‑end financial controlling (planning, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting) and ensure high data accuracy
  • Lead the local controlling team, and process excellence: develop controlling team capabilities, improve processes and automation
  • Reporting to CFO Allianz Services Romania 

 

What you will do

  • Lead the financial controlling activities, including planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting
  • Drive and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with business owners; coordinate data gathering and ensure accuracy of the processes
  • Preparation of management and group reports; create and provide financial reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly base)
  • Perform financial analysis and monitor budget compliance; Provide strategic recommendations based on financial insights and analysis
  • Rate card calculations together with service owners during annual pricing process; develop and implement alternative pricing strategies that align with business goals
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, drive automation and improvement of controlling processes and tools; Implement tools to analyze financial data, automate data collection and providing real-time insights for strategic decision-making
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional financial projects
  • Lead the local controlling team, train, coach, supervise and contribute to their professional development

 

What you bring

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, preferably in a multinational environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Computer skills, MS Office, AI, MS Copilot
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systems (SAP preferred or similar ERP systems)
