Job Summary

Performs duties related to the movement of materials, mail, lab specimens, medical records, supplies and linens within Prisma Health facilities in keeping with predetermined schedules.

Accountabilities

• Operates the courier vehicle/truck in accordance with written policies/procedures, state and local laws. Transports all materials between facilites in a timely manner as scheduled according to daily schedule, to include mail, lab specimens, clean linen, x-ray files, medical records and supply orders.
• Responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles to include gas, oil, air, and etc. Reports all service and repair requirements to Supervisor.
• At each facility, loads and unloads all material transported and delivers to designated area.

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

SC Driver's License with excellent driving record.
