Action News 5 is looking for an Assignment Manager to serve as the nerve center of our newsroom, monitoring police scanners, fielding tips, coordinating reporters and crews, and making real-time decisions about what stories to cover around the clock. The role demands strong communication, curiosity, and the ability to stay calm under pressure, especially during breaking news, while collaborating closely with producers, reporters, photographers, and managers.
