
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Description
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining the shipping / receiving department to assure all inbound and outbound material, products and packaging are unloaded / loaded, stored, shipped and recorded to meet internal and customer specifications. This role is responsible for preparing the pack lists and sheets for the loads shipping each day. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk processes all paperwork that travels with each load and ensures that the loads are properly documented. This position helps maintain all traffic records and updates the outbound master routing guide as required. Billing of the loads and regular customer interface, both internal and external, are a critical part of the job.
