THIS IS AN INTERNAL POSTING FOR CURRENT HIGHWAY PATROL OFFICERS ONLY. This position serves Berkeley and Charleston counties. As a South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) Squad Leader, performs supervisory, administrative, and personnel management duties in an assigned area of the state. Patrols and enforces motor vehicle traffic laws on South Carolina (SC) streets and highways. Enforces other criminal laws of the state and investigates collisions as necessary.
