Medical Laboratory Scientist I/Technologist I, Certified

Schedule: 7-On/7-Off B-Week 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Training Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk) 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Department: Immunohistochemistry - 362

Provides services of both a technical and non-technical nature in the laboratory service areas. Performs routine and complex laboratory tests in an assigned department of the clinical laboratory to provide physicians with rapid and accurate laboratory test results. Works under the direction of specialist, lead, and/or supervisor. Understanding of FISH technical procedures and CG(ASCP) or MB(ASCP) certification is strongly preferred. This position is not qualified for delegation of supervisory duties for NY testing areas.
