Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations. This individual ensures efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time fulfillment while maintaining strict compliance with cGMP standards, regulatory requirements, and data integrity principles (ALCOA+).

This role leads warehouse personnel, drives performance against operational goals, and partners cross-functionally to support SafeCor Health’s commitment to quality and patient safety.

What You’ll Do

1. Leadership & Team Management
   1. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, including supervisors and leads (team of 7 coworkers)
   2. Conduct performance reviews, corrective actions, and workforce planning
   3. Assign daily production and warehouse activities to meet operational goals
   4. Partner with HR and leadership on hiring, promotions, and development
   5. Train employees and promote cross-functional skill development
2. Compliance & Quality (cGMP / SOP / Regulatory)
   1. Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, cGMP, FDA, DEA, OSHA, and company policies
   2. Maintain audit readiness for internal, customer, and regulatory inspections
   3. Ensure accurate training records and compliance documentation
   4. Work closely with Quality to ensure product release and shipment readiness
3. Inventory & ERP Management
   1. Serve as ERP/WMS subject matter expert
   2. Ensure accuracy of all inventory, receiving, and shipping transactions
   3. Monitor and correct ERP discrepancies to maintain system integrity
   4. Lead cycle counting, physical inventory, and variance investigations
   5. Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, fulfillment rate, discrepancies, and throughput
4. Shipping & Receiving Operations
   1. Oversee inbound receiving, inspection, staging, labeling, and storage
   2. Manage outbound shipping, documentation, and carrier coordination
   3. Ensure compliance with regulated shipments (controlled products, etc.)
   4. Resolve supplier discrepancies, freight issues, and damage
5. Warehouse Operations & Continuous Improvement
   1. Optimize material flow: receiving → storage → picking → staging → shipping
   2. Drive efficiency initiatives (lean warehousing, 5S, space utilization)
   3. Support production with timely material delivery
   4. Improve processes through data analysis and operational feedback
6. Safety, Facility & Equipment Management
   1. Maintain a safe, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
   2. Enforce PPE, ergonomic, and safety protocols
   3. Oversee maintenance of forklifts, scanners, and warehouse equipment
   4. Manage facility security, storage areas, and archive systems
7. Cross-Functional & Customer Support
   1. Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Service teams
   2. Support projects such as layout improvements, ERP upgrades, and automation
   3. Communicate performance metrics and improvement plans to leadership
8. Additional Responsibilities
   1. Lead special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
   2. Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership

What You Bring

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, and inventory management experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience in warehouse operations
• Experience in a regulated (pharmaceutical/cGMP) environment preferred

Knowledge & Expertise

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control systems
• Experience with ERP/WMS platforms
• Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, DEA, and regulated environments
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving requirements (hazmat experience a plus)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and climb ladders
• Occasional travel and repetitive computer work
