Who Are You?
As the Executive Director of Assisted Living, you are a hands-on operational leader who thrives in a resident-centered environment. You lead from the front; building strong teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality care while fostering meaningful connections with residents and staff.
You bring a balance of clinical understanding, operational leadership, and hospitality mindset to create an environment where both residents and employees succeed.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the overall operations of Assisted Living, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Drive a culture of engagement, spending significant time with residents and staff
- Oversee care delivery, including assessments, service plans, and medication processes
- Manage and develop staff through coaching, accountability, and performance management
- Lead quality assurance initiatives, including tracking trends (falls, infections, etc.)
- Partner with residents and families to resolve concerns and enhance satisfaction
- Oversee admissions, discharges, and documentation accuracy
- Prepare for and lead state surveys and regulatory reviews
- Promote a safe environment through infection control and safety protocols
What You Bring:
- Leadership experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care (required)
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability
- Experience supporting residents with complex medical and cognitive needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred)
- Licensed Administrator – State of Kansas
- Operator’s License for Assisted Living (Kansas)
- Current CPR Certification
- Valid driver’s license
