Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, team-focused Material Handler 1 to help ensure accurate and efficient loading of products for shipment from our Coral, Northport, AL facility! This role empowers you to stay adaptable, build strength, and champion safety every step of the way.
Job Responsibilities:
- Locate and inspect products using shipping manifests
- Safely load materials onto trucks by hand or with carts/dollies
- Secure loads with wood and banding
- Verify correct truck assignments using work orders
- Maintain clean and organized shipping areas
- Communicate effectively and follow company procedures
What We Are Looking For
- Flexible schedule based on production and shipping needs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team
- Must wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toe boots with met guard)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. alone and 150 lbs. with a partner
- Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments
