Job Summary – Commercial Dishwasher

Function:

Provide Kitchen workers with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleans and sanitizes utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment according to department guidelines.
• Operates and maintains all cleaning and washing equipment at proper temperature and proper operating order.
• Properly dries and stores all utensils, plate ware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment.
• Maintains a clean floor in the dishwashing room.
• Adheres to safe handling procedures for all cleaning compounds.
• Disposes of garbage in proper waste containers.
• Assists in some food and/or tray preparation as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by kitchen Manger

Physical Demands:

Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty

Lift up to 50 pounds of product
