How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join an established team of 4 physicians and 3 APP’s
• Enjoy a highly manageable call structure, including a 1:18 weekday call rotation and just 2–3 weekends of call coverage per year
• Practice setting: Outpatient in a growing community of all patient ages with an average of 12-18 patients daily
• Access to Xray and laboratory service
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• In collaboration with a physician, deliver comprehensive primary care by assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic conditions—conducting exams, ordering/interpreting diagnostics, and providing preventive services including screenings and immunizations.
• Coordinate and manage patient care through referrals and community resources while educating patients and families on treatment and prevention; ensure accurate, timely documentation in alignment with specialty standards and organizational policies.
• Serving a growing population of about 16,000
• Located in Appleton, WI; a vibrant, family-friendly region with low cost of living, excellent schools, growing performing arts with touring Broadway shows and dining scene, and easy access to Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and Chicago, plus abundant outdoor recreation with nearby lakes, trails, and year-round activities

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. 

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
