PROCUREMENT TECHNICIAN

• The Procurement Technician will support the increasing administrative and operational demands of the Procurement Unit. This position supports agency purchasing activities through requisition processing, solicitation and contract support, contract tracking, research, reporting, and procurement card administration, while serving as a point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders. The position also helps ensure efficient, compliant, and uninterrupted procurement operations, and allows other procurement staff to focus on higher-level responsibilities. • Rare in-state travel is required for this position.

The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.
