As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, team members, visitors, and property while delivering service with professionalism, discretion, and hospitality. This role is ideal for an individual who remains calm under pressure, values integrity, and thrives in a luxury hospitality environment.
Requested Tasks
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the hotel, restaurants, public areas, and event spaces
- Monitor hotel property, guest areas, entrances, and back-of-house spaces to ensure safety and security standards are upheld
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, emergencies, disturbances, alarms, and incidents
- Conduct routine patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas
- Assist with emergency response procedures including medical incidents, evacuations, fire alarms, and safety-related situations
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports
- Monitor access control and support loss prevention efforts throughout the property
- Collaborate with hotel leadership and departments to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Provide assistance and directions to guests and visitors while maintaining a hospitality-focused approach
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations
- Support special events, VIP arrivals, and high-volume operational periods as needed
- Observe and report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or security risks immediately
Requested Capabilities
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, or hospitality security experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a calm, professional demeanor
- Ability to remain composed and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to complete reports accurately
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations and move throughout the property as needed
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and remain physically active throughout the shift
