Casual Housekeeping

Classic LifeCare is a trusted, family-run home care agency with over 50 years of experience providing exceptional healthcare services. We take pride in our accreditation by Accreditation Canada.  We are seeking casual Housekeepers with a strong background in cleaning, organizing, and supporting clients with developmental or mental health disabilities. Candidates must be personable, able to take initiative, and work independently.  

Areas where we are looking for casual Housekeepers: Prince George, BC

Pay rate: $20 per hour

As a housekeeper at Classic LifeCare, you will have the opportunity to work various shifts throughout the week, including mornings and afternoons. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our clients with a wide range of housekeeping duties. 

Some of these duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Washing windows and mirrors
• Cleaning kitchen appliances
• Taking out garbage
• Laundry and ironing

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Experience with housekeeping, deep cleaning, and maintenance cleaning of residential homes
• Good English comprehension
• Ability to follow instructions, take initiative with tasks, and work under pressure
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment in various situations
• Must be open to direction, accountable in their work, and able to communicate effectively
• Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential, along with the ability to maintain professional boundaries while supporting home-based clients
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Clean criminal record check
• Willingness to work short shifts
