Highlights of the Position:
Day and Evening Shifts (No weekends)
Rate of Pay $21.46
Working closely with the client team, Clinical Manager, Social Worker, and family
Role & Responsibilities:
As a key member of the client care team, you will provide high quality personal care services that are in accordance with care plans, policies, and procedures. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to follow instructions will enable you to assist our client with various personal support tasks, such as personal hygiene, exercises, meals, and medication reminders. You are committed to ensuring that the physical and emotional well-being of client is met, and you bring a dedicated client-first attitude to this important role.
Due to the nature of the care required for our client, the Team Lead will have behavioral experience in a similar position, or life experience in which similar duties were completed.
Team Lead Responsibilities
Staff Scheduling and Supervision
Home Management
Provide the client with direct and continual care and supervision
Monitor monthly funding allowances to ensure it stays within funding limits
Attend Client Care Meetings and Provide regular input
Liaise with family, professionals, and other members of the team
Management of clients Community Access
Shifts are flexible and a combination of daytimes and evenings
Own vehicle will be required, with client carrier insurance.
Education:
Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)
Attributes:
- Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:
- 3 supervisory references,
- A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
- Proof of being negative for TB.
