Responsibilities:

* Operate the weighbridge to accurately weigh vehicles (trucks, tankers, etc.) carrying various materials (e.g., palm oil, kernels, empty containers).
* Record weight data accurately in the system (manual and/or computerized) and issue weighbridge tickets/receipts.
* Verify material types, quantities, and accompanying documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Identify and report any discrepancies, anomalies, or potential issues with loads or documentation to the relevant supervisor.
* Maintain a clean and organised weighbridge area.
* Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the weighbridge equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damage promptly.
* Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations, including traffic management protocols around the weighbridge.
* Communicate effectively with drivers, logistics personnel, and other stakeholders.
* Assist with other administrative or operational tasks as required.
Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience operating a weighbridge, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or plantation environment.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting.
* Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required.
