Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) –Full Time (M–F 8am–5pm)
Location: 1495 Pine Ridge Rd, Suite 4, Naples, FL
Compensation: $20–$23 per hour DOE

Position Summary
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to provide high‑quality clinical and administrative support to our providers. This role supports patient care in outpatient and hospital settings, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and compassionate service.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient intakes, including vital signs, medical history, and medication/allergy review
Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per competency standards
Prepare, label, and process lab samples and point‑of‑care tests
Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration
Support patient triage, care coordination, and transitions between care settings
Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
Document clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR accurately
Schedule and track appointments, referrals, authorizations, and test results
Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations and billing needs
Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical inventory
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills
Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and care teams
Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and all compliance standards
Deliver compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Active certification and ongoing continuing education
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Clinical or internship experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Familiarity with EHR systems preferred
Skilled in vital signs, EKGs, and routine diagnostic procedures
Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and universal precautions
Strong documentation, medical terminology, and scheduling skills
Ability to multitask, follow workflows, and maintain confidentiality
Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities
Professionalism and accountability aligned with organizational values
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
Physical Requirements
Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; ability to lift up to 15 lbs independently
Frequent repetitive motions of hands, wrists, and fingers
Visual acuity for data entry, documentation, and computer use
