Your Purpose
The Guest Services Associate welcomes guests with an efficient, warm and friendly disposition, answers their inquiries and assists with any feedback/concerns in a professional and timely manner. Additionally, the role supports MSC Foundation initiatives and Groups & Events coordination, ensuring enhanced guest engagement and contribution to meaningful causes.
Your Impact
Guest Relations Responsibilities:
• Provides anticipative assistance including information and general assistance to guests.
• Takes ownership of all guest needs that they are assisting with.
• Resolves guest claims and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional and elevated guest experience
• Performs all necessary administrative tasks.
• Manages a variety of financial transactions and is responsible of a cash float.
MSC Foundation Responsibilities:
• Actively promotes the MSC Foundation, its partners and programmes with genuine belief and passion on a rotation basis.
• Explains donation mechanisms and facilitates onboard donations with gratitude.
• Hosts and supervises MSC Foundation activities during assigned rotational coverage (including evening hours).
• Supports organization of Foundation-related activities and events during each journey in collaboration with other departments.
• Tracks activities and provides feedback to AGSM/GSM for reporting purposes.
Groups & Events Coordination:
• Assists in planning and executing group functions and special events as directed by AGSM on a rotation basis.
• Coordinates logistics and guest communication for assigned events, ensuring seamless delivery.
• Acts as a liaison between guests and relevant departments for event requirements.
Your Journey So Far
• High School certificate.
• Experience as a receptionist/guest service agent.
• Extensive experience with diverse Luxury/Premium hospitality.
• Cruise industry experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Fidelio/Otalio Cruise System is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Computers & Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent English, oral and written. Two additional European languages preferred (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish or French).
