Job Summary
As an IT Operations Analyst based in our Mexico City office, you will serve as the primary on-site IT resource for the MX region. You will be responsible for device provisioning, laptop imaging and deployment, asset inventory management, and Day 1 IT support for new hires. This role is critical to ensuring MX employees are equipped, supported, and productive from their first day. This is a fully on-site role — presence in the CDMX office every day is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Device Provisioning & Imaging
Image and configure Windows laptops for new hires, including creating bootable OS flash drives and deploying devices to company standards.
Wipe, reimage, and redeploy returned devices from departing employees.
Ensure all laptops are configured, updated, and ready for pickup by new hires on Day 1.
Maintain on-site device inventory to support emergency replacements for damaged, lost, or stolen equipment.
2. Asset & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT assets in the MX office, including laptops, peripherals, and accessories.
Track device assignments, returns, and lifecycle status for all MX employees.
Coordinate with the core IT team on stock replenishment and inventory reporting.
3. Level 1 IT Support
Serve as the first point of contact for MX employees experiencing IT issues, including password lockouts, account access, license assignments, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Direct users to self-service tools and Scout (IT support agent) where applicable.
Escalate unresolved issues to the core IT team with clear documentation.
4. New Hire Onboarding Support
Act as the on-site IT contact for new hire device pickup and initial setup on Day 1.
Assist new hires with account access, Google Workspace setup, and basic application configuration.
Coordinate with the core IT team to ensure software provisioning is complete prior to each new hire start date.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the US-based IT team to align on processes, escalate issues, and maintain consistent standards across regions.
Communicate clearly with People Ops and Talent Acquisition regarding new hire schedules and device readiness.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in an IT support or operations role.
Hands-on experience imaging Windows laptops, including creating bootable OS flash drives, wiping, and deploying devices.
Experience providing Level 1 IT support, including password resets, account lockouts, and license assignments.
Familiarity with asset inventory management and hardware lifecycle processes.
Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and Jira.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills — ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users.
Must be based in Mexico City and available to work on-site in the CDMX office daily.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with directory services such as JumpCloud or Active Directory — JumpCloud experience is a plus.
Familiarity with MDM tools and device management platforms — experience with NinjaOne, JumpCloud, and/or JAMF (or comparable tools) is strongly preferred.
Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred — ability to communicate with the US-based IT team in English is a plus.
Note: This is a part-time, on-site role based in the Tinuiti Mexico City office. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
