Description

VP Shopper Marketing – Americas

We are seeking a VP of Shopper Marketing to lead the strategic growth, commercial performance, and delivery of best-in-class shopper marketing solutions across North and Latin American markets.

This is a senior leadership role operating at the intersection of shopper insight, retail strategy, and commercial activation. You will act as both a senior client partner and capability leader, responsible for expanding existing client relationships, driving new business opportunities, building high-performing teams, and positioning the agency as a trusted partner in shopper-led growth and transformation.



Purpose of the role

Shopper & Retail Strategy Leadership
  • Define and lead an Americas-wide shopper marketing strategy aligned to client priorities and growth objectives
  • Translate shopper insight into scalable, commercially impactful strategies
  • Ensure consistency and adoption of global shopper marketing frameworks across Americas clients
Commercial Growth & New Revenue Development
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth through expansion of shopper marketing scope with existing clients
  • Identify white-space opportunities to unlock incremental revenue and capability expansion
  • Lead strategic new business initiatives, including multi-market pitches and shopper capability programs
Senior Client Partnership & Advisory
  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to client leadership teams
  • Partner with clients to assess shopper marketing maturity and co-develop capability roadmaps
  • Design and deliver joint workshops, training, and transformation initiatives that drive value and revenue
Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Americas shopper marketing community
  • Build future-ready capability across insight, strategy, activation, and measurement
  • Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Innovation, Thought Leadership & Market Influence
  • Champion innovation across omnichannel planning, retail media, and data-led activation
  • Develop and deliver thought leadership through executive briefings, client events, and industry forums
  • Position the business as a long-term strategic partner in shopper transformation, not just execution
Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with insight, analytics, activation, and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Align Americas initiatives with global frameworks and best practice
  • Embed shopper-first thinking across client engagements and internal teams


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven senior leadership experience in shopper marketing, retail strategy, or related disciplines
  • Deep understanding of CPG, US and Latin American retail environments, and shopper decision-making
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue growth
  • Experience leading multi-market teams and complex client engagements across the Americas
  • Consultancy mindset with the ability to influence at C-suite and senior client levels
  • Strong communicator able to translate insight into compelling strategic narratives
