Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Onsite)
Pay:up to $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (weekends may be required)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to maintain the buildings, common grounds, and overall appearance of the Stonemill Farms community. This role is responsible for routine upkeep, inspections, repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily janitorial duties, including cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and mopping
- Maintain and upkeep community buildings and common grounds
- Complete landscaping tasks such as tree trimming and seasonal projects
- Conduct weekly inspections of homeowner properties
- Remove snow, manage ice rink areas, and perform seasonal maintenance
- Install and maintain park/sports equipment and nets
- Replace light bulbs, maintain mailboxes, and perform minor repairs
- Pick up trash and ensure cleanliness throughout common areas
- Assist with setup and teardown for community events
- Complete painting, staining, and general improvement projects
- Partner with vendors and report to the Property Manager
- Ensure parks and amenities meet community safety and quality standards
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with management and vendors
- Attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
- Customer service mindset and professionalism
- Experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic repairs, supplies management, and equipment upkeep
- Valid driver’s license required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work (majority outdoors)
- Must be able to stand, climb ladders, lift, and perform physical tasks
- Exposure to various weather conditions and environmental elements
