Kennel Assistant

Woodland Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we�re looking for a Pet Hotel Associate to join our team! If you love caring for animals and take pride in creating a clean, comfortable environment, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you�ll help make our boarding pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay. Your day will include providing meals, walks, and plenty of cuddles, along with administering medications and keeping a close eye on each patient�s health and behavior. You�ll document your observations carefully and communicate any concerns to the veterinary team.
You�ll also play an important role behind the scenes by keeping kennels, treatment areas, and shared spaces clean, organized, and fully stocked so the entire hospital runs smoothly.
This position is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys staying busy. If you like a mix of hands-on animal care and making things sparkle, you�ll fit right in with our team.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with a mix of 4 and 8-hour shifts. We�re looking for someone with flexible availability with our greatest need on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $19-20 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications:
- Previous kennel or animal handling experience is preferred
- Commitment to a career in veterinary medicine with ongoing training
