Title: Performance Consultant
Location: Tampa, Florida
Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI (required)
Technology Specialization: WAN Optimization
Travel Requirement: 50%
What you will do
- Deploy and implement WAN optimization solutions across customer environments, including tactical platforms
- Lead end-to-end consulting engagements, including planning, design, implementation, and project closure
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) in networking, WAN optimization, and application performance
- Assess customer environments and drive solution adoption to maximize ROI and business value
- Design and architect solutions for data center consolidation, migration, and performance optimization
- Develop technical documentation and deliverables, including HLDs, LLDs, and compliance-related materials
- Troubleshoot complex performance issues and produce detailed analysis and reporting (e.g., dependency mapping)
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance on performance management and best practices
What makes you an ideal candidate
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required for working with Federal customers)
- Deep expertise in WAN optimization and/or network performance technologies
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, protocols, and network architecture
- Experience in technical consulting, professional services, or network engineering roles
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex IT environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump, snmpwalk)
- Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures, including multi-tier environments
