Job Description
Safety & Compliance
Comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 6S/lean manufacturing practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Reading & Interpreting Technical Drawings
Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Select appropriate metal materials based on job requirements.
Cut, bend, shape, and mark materials using manual and automated tools.
Operate fabrication equipment (shears, grinders, press brakes, drills, CNC machines).
Perform welding operations (MIG/TIG/Stick/Brazing) to assemble components.
Fit, align, and assemble parts to meet specifications.
Assemble complete structures or subassemblies according to instructions.
Deburr, polish, grind, and finish components to required standards.
Inspect fabricated parts for structural integrity and dimensional accuracy.
Maintain fabrication tools, welding machines, and CNC systems.
Record measurements, batch numbers, and production data.
Report defects, discrepancies, or equipment issues.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in welding processes (MIG/TIG/Stick).
Ability to read technical drawings and CAD prints.
Strong understanding of fabrication tools and machine operations.
Keen attention to detail and quality.
Knowledge of safety procedures and industrial best practices.
Education & Experience
Diploma or technical/vocational certification in fabrication or welding.
Preferred:
Associate degree in metal fabrication or related field.
