The Undergraduate College Intern position is for currently enrolled students who have attended at least one year of their a bachelors program. The Summer Internship Program offers a variety of internship positions across Emory departments for either 10 or 12 weeks depending on the department needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for providing support to the research team in a variety of capacities.
- This position works closely with the research team and other departments to ensure the successful completion of research projects and studies.
- The Clinical Research Assistant will be responsible for collecting and entering data, tracking patient progress, and coordinating with other clinical staff members.
- They will also assist with the development and implementation of research protocols and processes, as well as the preparation of documents for regulatory submissions.
- The Clinical Research Assistant will provide administrative support, such as scheduling and organizing meetings, as well as preparing research materials.
- This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Assist in the design and implementation of clinical research protocols
- Collect and enter clinical data into medical databases
- Perform literature searches and reviews
- Organize and manage clinical research documents
- Communicate with clinical research staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of clinical trial activities
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing research results
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university offering a four year degree.
- Completion of freshman year or higher and in good academic standing.
- College transcripts required as part of interview process.
- Excellent organizational, data management and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
