Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.An organization within Northrop Grumman’s Launch and Exploration Division, Civil Space and Sciences Business Unit, Space Exploration Operating Unit is seeking an experienced Program Manager in Promontory, UT.
The Program Manager will be a direct report to the Space Exploration Program Manager 3 and will support the accelerated schedule for Artemis III and IV The Program Manager will be accountable for management and execution of schedule, programmatic, and technical performance within the SLS constraints.
Please note this is a part-time position. The salary range is based on a full-time schedule and will be prorated to the extent the schedule is reduced.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that program operational objectives are met
Establish and maintain program organization which effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates necessary internal and external sub-organizations
Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements, resource requests, and action items
Effective cultivation and management of deliverables within program commitments
Accountable for results that impact the performance and success of the program’s objectives
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years’ experience in Program Management; OR a Master’s degree and 8 years’ experience
Program Management experience on the NASA SLS program
Have experience with Booster level integration drawings and a knowledge of material requirements
Have experience in the transfer process of materials from Northrop Grumman to NASA
Have a knowledge of the RPSF and VAB at KSC
Strong interpersonal communication skills
US Citizenship in required

Team leadership experience of program teams with 30+ members across all functions
