SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the following: maintaining parts in inventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping parts room clean and orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed; identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; releasing purchase requisitions for approval; receiving all maintenance parts; signing vendor tickets; filling out receiving reports for accounts payable; delivering parts to maintenance personnel for particular job; stocking inventory in parts room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment; unload supply trucks; prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision; other duties as assigned.

***This is primarily a 'C' shift position***

Sunday 23:00 to 11:30

Monday 23:00 to 07:30

Wednesday 8:00 to 15:30

Saturday 23:00 to 11:30

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Extra consideration given to applicants with maintenance, technical, computer and customer service experience;

• Experience working with parts and tools a plus.

Computer Skills

• Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable;

• Competent in Windows-based software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word;

• Ability to learn Tyson Maintenance system in 90 days.

Communication Skills

• Must possess a high level of verbal/written communication skills.

• Bilingual a plus.

Travel

• None.

Other Requirements

• Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently;

• Knowledge, skills, and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting;

• Perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy;

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task;

• Work without supervision;

• Be detail oriented and have good attendance;

• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations/maintenance.

Priority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.
