The California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the High-Speed Rail project in California’s Central Valley.
The CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations, two mainline viaducts, one tunnel, realignments of existing railroad tracks, utility relocations, roadway relocations, two trench sections, and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.
Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent
As a Scheduler at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with construction operations team as you develop construction and update schedules for the project. You will be responsible for building and updating schedules as various milestones and project deliverables are completed or added to the scope of work, while also providing updates to key project team members on the progress of project.
DESCRIPTION:
Produce, edit and update construction schedules utilizing Primavera P6
Attend project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Assist in the management of internal controls including implementing new process controls, measuring project performance, reporting on project status, and ensuring the integrity and validity of internally and externally disseminated information
Experienced in extracting data for report generation such as owner billings and cost reports
Collaborate effectively with various project teams, other project schedulers, field personnel, and clients to create accurate reports and achieve goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution
1 or more years of scheduling experience on engineering or construction projects
1 or more years of experience with Primavera P6
