Overview
The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing on a plan to support future customers and customers around the world across various marketing channels. They will own the coordination and execution of a quarterly plan of communications and marketing focused on email campaigns, nurture campaigns, and additional campaigns. Additionally, they will identify areas for improvement in BlackLine’s lifecycle marketing efforts based on analytics and data.
Responsibilities
Own, develop, and execute marketing and communications plans across various email channels including newsletters, email, nurture campaigns, and other areas targeted to a global audience.
Understand and implement BlackLine’s Marketing strategy as it relates to our targets, regions, and industries.
Own relationships with internal business partners and cross-functional teams to understand their programs and needs to communicate them to future customers and customers.
Develop email performance reports that identify areas for improvement based on analytics, data, and A/B testing.
Create, research, and deliver a monthly newsletter for our customers based on current goals.
Collaborate with the stakeholders to create communications template for Sales, Customer Success, and others teams.
Own and define a format for an internal newsletter to communicate North America marketing information to internal Sales, Account Management, and other teams.
Collaborate with other BlackLine teams on cross-functional initiatives to continually improve the BlackLine experience for customers and future customers.
Manage Lifecycle-related projects in our project management tool to provide information, copy, and assets to involved teams in a timely manner.
Manage additional marketing campaigns on an as-needed basis.
Manage aspects of the global marketing campaign calendar as it relates to the Lifecycle Marketing team’s strategy.
Write and edit content promoting BlackLine’s user conferences and other events to future customers.
Understand and enforce writing standards and quality controls measures to ensure consistent messaging, tone, and brand identity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years in a business communications-related field
- Excellent writing skills “ please be able to supply a portfolio on request
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience creating communications in a corporate marketing environment
