Overview
Code all diagnoses and procedures on In-patient, Day Surgery, Out-patient Services, Cancer Center, 23 hour records and Emergency Department Records in a timely manner to ensure timely payment of patient claims and to ensure the development of a disease and procedure index for future reference.

Responsibilities
Coding of diagnoses and procedures for Emergency Room Records, In-Patients, Day Surgery, Out-Patient Services records, Cancer Center records and 23 hour patient records.
Qualifications
Registered Health Information Technician or individual with 5 years or more experience in Medical Records with a strong background in Coding.
