Job Title: Associate Director - Third-Party Data Stewardship
The Team: We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Associate Director - Third-Party Data Stewardship to join our team in Pakistan.
This role, positioned at Grade 12, is critical for overseeing and managing all third-party vendor contracts, ensuring strategic alignment, and driving operational excellence across S&P Global.
Responsibilities and Impact: This role is pivotal in driving strategic vendor partnerships and optimizing data solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve key outcomes by:
  • Actively leading third-party vendor evaluations, driving cost synergies and operational efficiencies by managing resources to deliver effectively and taking accountability for the operating system rather than individual instances.
  • Being responsible for vendor onboarding and integration, ensuring data quality assurance, metadata management, and vendor governance compliance, operating with autonomy and requiring little direction.
  • Working closely with EDO Finance and Product teams to conduct financial viability assessments of vendors, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide meaningful ROI for our global client base.
  • Engaging with a wide number of stakeholders and developing key relationships across the business, considering multiple possible courses of action, making recommendations, and influencing buy-in based on analysis.
  • Driving efficiencies in processes and leading projects through to completion, managing multiple key projects, conflicting priorities, and unexpected changes through appropriate delegation.
  • Collaborating closely with the wider Data Stewardship and Data Partnership teams, leading others in connecting S&P Global purpose and values to day-to-day work, leveraging extensive knowledge of practices within the team and across business areas.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data/Business Analysis related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of dealing with third-party data vendors, demonstrating broad knowledge of a specialized field and its interrelationships in the market, with proven experience in negotiating contracts and associated data rights.
  • As an Associate Director (Grade 12), you are recognized as an expert, actively listen to others to understand their perspectives, respond empathetically, and work collaboratively to build trust and foster a shared purpose
