Substitute Paraeducators

Substitute paraeducators will be hired and employed by the Council Bluffs Community School District for the 2026/27 school year.

If you are currently employed by Kelly Ed. as a substitute, you will need to apply with us for consideration.

If you are interested, apply directly through our website at cb-schools.org/careers.

You will be contacted at a later date to discuss next steps.

To qualify to be a Paraeducator, you must have at least ONE (1) of the following:
1. At least 48 credit hours of college coursework
2. Associates Degree
3. Paraeducator Certificate
4. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
