Position Overview
Cascade Restaurant is seeking a reliable, energetic Food Runner to support our front-of-house team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. As a Food Runner, you are the critical link between the kitchen and dining room—ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with care.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being on their feet, and takes pride in creating smooth, memorable dining experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
- Ensure all dishes meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to maintain flow of service
- Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing and resetting tables
- Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests when delivering food
- Support overall cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays
