Sanitation Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct leadership oversight to sanitation supervisors
  • Lead sanitation team on verification of sanitation cycles, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) execution and documentation
  • Lead the execution of the site's Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP)
  • Drive and provide technical direction to the sanitation and FSQA teams on EMP remediation
  • Support sanitation training in liaison with sanitation supervisors and EMP training in liaison with FSQA supervisors
  • Support Internal FSQA program audit initiatives and follow ups
  • Drive and manage corrective and preventive actions for remediation and internal audits
  • Coordinate and drive execution on special sanitation and environmental monitoring occurrences
  • Coordinate and drive execution with cross-functional teams on new building installations, modifications or emerging programs
  • Develop, update and implement working tools for new applicable programs, in liaison with corporate Sanitation
  • Liaise with vendors and direct sanitation team on sanitation supplies management
  • Lead the site's Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program
  • Develop supportive relationships with Operations and other support staff (Quality, Distribution, Maintenance) to achieve results and maintain the highest standards for product safety and quality
  • Assist with information or research to help resolve Food Safety and Quality concerns
  • Assist with selection, hiring, advancement, transfer, promotion and termination decisions for the department
  • Enforce all safety procedures per company policies
  • Motivate and lead by example

  • All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program

  • The pay for this position is $70,700.00-$102,900.00. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.
