Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC Program. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
- Certification:
- HVAC Certificate or License
- EPA Universal
- NATE Certification is not required, but desired
- Journeyman HVAC is not required, but is desired
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician/Mechanic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
