Perform in process layered audits to ensure procedures are being followed and documentation is being completed thoroughly.
Maintain LDM boards with correct data, owners, and actions.
Update hour by hour boards to demonstrate team performance and work order status.
Review and execute work-center schedules for on-time delivery.
Coordinate with Maintenance department to ensure machine uptime status is optimized.
Assign daily tasks & duties to operators.
Manage rework and scrap process.
Maintain accurate inventory data on all components counted for scrap, excess, etc.
Maintain FIFO and WIP lanes.
Lead and participate in kaizen events aimed to eliminate waste and to increase productivity.
Work with training coordinator to develop team members.
